
May 29th 1953 was the date of the accomplishment of a
goal that was innovative, by someone who was highly motivated.
Many would suggest that he possessed more intrinsic motivation
than raw talent. Indeed, this humble bookkeeper developed the
talent to facilitate his achievement. It was on this day that
Sir Edmund Hillary conquered Mount Everest.
For managers the continual pursuit of performance and
productivity has become a part of the responsibility when
