is pleased to announce the
10th Anniversary of the YMCA Breakfast of
Champions and an exciting new theme for the campaign, “Invest
In Youth”. The fundraising campaign kicks off
March 2006
and culminates in the
Breakfast of Champions Fundraising Celebration on
April 18, 2006
,
from
7:00 am
to 9 am, at the Delta
Toronto East Hotel,
2035 Kennedy Road
(Kennedy
&
Hwy. 401). The event is co-hosted by Dwight Drummond,
CITY-TV and Suhana Meharchand, CBC-TV.
The
YMCA has always
been a Canadian leader in providing the services
and
experiences needed to help youth make critical life
transitions. Last year, over 110,000 youth benefited
from YMCA
Employment and Community Programs including:
the YMCA Academy, YMCA House, YMCA Youth
Leadership Corp Programs, Youth Substance Abuse Programs,
Employment Counseling and Placement Programs, Newcomer
Information Services, and Youth Internships.
All
funds raised this year will go directly to supporting and
expanding YMCA youth programs.

Blair was appointed Chief of the Toronto Police Service on
April 26, 2005.
The Toronto Police Service employs over 5,200
officers and more than 2,000 civilian staff.
Toronto has one of the largest municipal police
services in North America, responsible for policing a
vibrant city of almost 2.5 million people.

Wolfson President and CEO the

Association Prior
to joining Acxsys
Corporation and Interac Association in 1998, Ms. Wolfson
held the position of Deputy Minister of several portfolios
in the Ontario Government, including the Ministry of
Intergovernmental Affairs, the Ministry of Consumer and
Commercial Relations and the Ministry of Economic
Development, Trade and Tourism.
Ms. Wolfson also practiced civil litigation with the
law firm of McCarthy Tétrault.Ms. Wolfson is the recipient
of the Queen’s Jubilee Anniversary Medal (2003) for
leadership and service to the community.

Chuck Reynolds has a demonstrated passion
for assisting youth in providing them with practical tools for achievement.
He has served as a Board Member at Eva's Place,
assisting homeless youth. He also served as a volunteer
leader for an inner city community youth group where,
sadly, he also attended the funeral of one of the 17 year old
boys he worked with, who was shot twice in the
back. Chuck serves as Chief Performance Officer at Excel
Group, a Toronto based corporate training firm
specializing in enhancing Management and Team Effectiveness.
